Dam – Maddie

Maddie is my flushing dog here at Austin Gun Club. She has been birdie since a very young age having been bred of hunting stock parent who both Upland Hunt and Waterfow Hunt. While Maddie may not have any field trial or hunt test titles, her drive is big and field work is excellent. Retrieving her first chukar at 12 weeks of age she has a love for the hunt. While upland hunting she is intent on the pointing dogs and what they are doing going in behind them to flush up that pheasant, quail or chukar. She loves to retrieve and thinks we put in our Helice ring just for her and she quickly learned that once the machines start a simple bark is all it takes to make the zz bird fly.

Sire – Diesel

We are excited to have Diesel as our sire for this litter. Diesel is one of those once in a lifetime dogs that comes along and just changes everything. Having a quick aptitude for the training and strong drive, owner Sydney Thomson, is taking his training and hunt tests to all the next levels. His acheivements are impressive but his temperament is event more so. Sydney runs Savannah Bluff Retrievers and we look forward to all the great things to come out of this dynamic duo.
