Let’s Beat the Heat together with a fun summer set on the clays course!
We are setting aside this event to raise funds for Captain Marvin Taylor’s family. Captain Taylor was a Killeen Firefighter who tragically lost his life on Mother’s Day this year while on his way to pick up his 4 children to take them to the hospital to meet their newborn baby brother who had just been born hours earlier. Captain Taylor’s life was tragically stolen from his family by a careless drunk driver.
Captain Taylor was a collegue and friend of our own Captain Darren Morphis of the Killeen Fire Department and our own right hand in all things at the Austin Gun Club.
We are guaranteeing $10 for every event entry to Captain Taylor’s family and hope to raise more.
Come out and help us rally around this new mom, now widow, support her 5 children.
