DESCRIPTION:Hill Country Freedom Blast!\nJoin us in celebrating our Freedoms with a fun 3-Day sporting clays competition. We are excited to be working with Capital City Clays and Copperhead Creek Shooting Club on bringing our shooters a fun weekend and fun clays. \nNote the rescheduled Saturday and Sunday events as listed below:  \nEvent Schedule: \nJuly 4th – Capital City Clays  – Completed\nRescheduled to August 2nd – Copperhead Creek Shooting Club\nRescheduled to August 3rd – Austin Gun Club \nShooters competing all three days with entries in the 100 Bird Main Events and 50 Bird Super Sportings at each club will be entered for a chance to take home the prizes. Awards will be for: HOA and 1st in both Class & Concurrents. All clubs will have their regular programs each day in recards to courses\, etc. We will end this years event at Austin Gun Club with an awards cereomy and light snacks after the shoot.

SUMMARY:NSCA Beat the Heat 2025 - Canceled
DESCRIPTION:We are moving the benefit shoot to our October shoot. We canceled the Beat the Heat tournament due to the flooding in July from which we moved the Clays Bursting in the Air to August 3rd to complete the Hill Country Freedom Blast. \nWe are setting aside this event to raise funds for Captain Marvin Taylor’s family. Captain Taylor was a Killeen Firefighter who tragically lost his life on Mother’s Day this year while on his way to pick up his 4 children to take them to the hospital to meet their newborn baby brother who had just been born hours earlier. Captain Taylor’s life was tragically stolen from his family by a careless drunk driver. \nCaptain Taylor was a collegue and friend of our own Captain Darren Morphis of the Killeen Fire Department and our own right hand in all things at the Austin Gun Club. \nWe are guaranteeing $10 for every event entry to Captain Taylor’s family and hope to raise more. \nCome out and help us rally around this new mom\, now widow\, support her 5 children. \nYou can read more about Captain Taylor at the links: CLICK HERE and CLICK HERE. \nMoney Back to Class in All Events! \n\n
